DIFC students visit UCC in a guided tour
As part of our Foundation Program, every year DIFC visits different University Campuses to show students what academic alternatives are in place for them.
On our last trip, we had the opportunity to visit University College Cork, one of the most prestigious universities in Ireland. We aim for our students to learn about the types of study plans available to the student, and for them to feel the atmosphere and vibe of the University as well as gain an insight into college life in Ireland.
Our students spent a pleasant day touring the grounds of the university on a guided tour that was conducted by two students from this institution who, in addition to making the tour extremely interesting, made it entertaining by telling us all the secrets and legends of the place!
Subsequently, the directors of each program spoke with our students about the different options that UCC offers in academic matters and the different awards they have received such as the Overall Excellence in Education in 2021, and 2022.
UCC is also ranked in the top 1.1% of universities worldwide according to Qs ranking and has been voted the number one University in terms of the student experience in the country during 2020, 2021 and 2022. In addition to having its enrolment of more than 4 thousand foreign students from more than 100 countries. This makes it one of the greatest partners of DIFC since the academic and student excellence that they offer is one of the best.
At DIFC, we understand that studying abroad can be a challenge for anyone who sets their mind to it, which is why one of our main objectives is to try to make this adaptation easier. Our collaboration with various universities has a focus-oriented approach, not only to the academic growth of the students but also for human development as we aim to bring enriching experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
