Are you disappointed with your High School results and looking for an alternative pathway?
Have you missed out on gaining entry to a top university as a result of not achieving the required results? Now you might be wondering what you do next… You won’t be able to study abroad and get into the top universities, so you might start looking at some lower ranked universities.
As you may already know, most top ranked universities look for specific results for admission to their Bachelor degree programmes. It can be hugely disappointing for international students who didn’t achieve these points. Well here is some good news for you… Your dream of studying at a top university is still possible with an alternative pathway to your desired undergraduate degree via the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) offered by DIFC.
How does the International Foundation Year (IFY) help me to study abroad?
The NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) offered by DIFC is the equivalent to an A-Level qualification and is structured so that you study three academic subjects in addition to English for Academic Purposes. This pathway is designed to help international students develop their skills and knowledge to support them in achieving a place in their dream university.
The IFY is an ideal pathway for you if you didn’t achieve the required results for direct admission, as it helps to further develop your academic knowledge, as well as prepare you for studying abroad at university. You can then progress to leading universities in Ireland, the UK, mainland Europe and worldwide.
The IFY is delivered in 4 tailored streams to tie in with your University progression plans:
