Hey everyone! My name is Deannisa Novtianindy, and recently graduated from the legendary place, DIFC. I took IFY Business and currently studying in Maynooth University through BA Arts degree and hoping to pursue either Psychology or Law for 2nd year.
Choosing a foundation college
Picking a college is tough, especially looking for a good foundation college that has a big range of university pathways. With moving to a new country was also making it difficult for me but I had to open a new page and restart a new life. That’s where I found DIFC. I knew that the moment I found about it I was going to like it. Turns out, I was right. If you want to find exceptional academics but also a lively environment, DIFC is the one. The lecturers are honestly rockstars. They make sure that you are on track and put in as many efforts to help you mentally and academically. They are not just a master on their fields, they are passionate about teaching their students. They also have a wide variety of pathways which are IFY Science, IFY Health science, IFY Engineering and IFY Business. These will help you even more to get into the university that you want. Furthermore, they are not just partnering with universities in Ireland but also in many other countries such as Hungary, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Spain and many more.
A Vibrant Student Experience, it’s not all study
Another fun fact you should know, DIFC is not just about books and study. They made sure that the students have a sufficient time of refreshments. For example, a trip around the county, birthday celebrations, college ball, sports day, Irish culture celebrations, and many more! I just know that DIFC is invested in ameliorating the campus spirit.
DIFC has helped me so much in getting to the university I wanted. They weren’t only focusing on my academic progress, but also my mental health. Moving to a new country that is far away from home was a big struggle for me, until DIFC came in and made it better. They are not your enemies, they are your friends, guardian, and fun people. When you come here, do not be afraid on where to start because they will help you few weeks even before you arrive in Ireland.
Why Ireland Is the Perfect Place for Students
I’ve been to Ireland many times before, which was my reason for moving here. Ireland has made me change to a better person and made me happier than before. As a Singaporean person, you Singaporeans who are reading this must come here. I promise you it is a great place that exceeds your expectations. Ireland is so much better than Singapore if you don’t like staying in a place where every day is summertime. And not just for my fella Singaporeans. If you are from another country, you should come to Ireland and specifically, study at DIFC. They do not only have courses for pre-undergraduates but also for master’s students.
