Choose Your Pathway
1. University Preparation (Undergraduate)
Best for: High school graduates who want to be fully prepared for year one of their degree.
This course bridges the gap between high school and university. You will combine intensive English for Academic Purposes (EAP) with subject-specific modules tailored to your future degree.
- Choose Your Stream: Business, Science, Humanities, Health Science, or Engineering/Computer Science.
- What You Will Study:
- Core: English for Academic Purposes (15 hours/week) + Introduction to University Maths.
- Specialist Subjects: Choose modules relevant to your degree, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, or Business.
- Entry Requirement: IELTS 5.5 + High School grades meeting university entry criteria.
The Outcome: Direct entry to a partner university undergraduate degree in September 2026.
2. Pre-Master’s Preparation
Best for: Degree holders who want to master the research skills required for a European Master’s.
Postgraduate study in Ireland and the UK requires a high level of independent research. This course ensures you are ready for the challenge.
- What You Will Study:
- Core: Advanced English for Academic Purposes (15 hours/week).
- Research Skills: Dedicated modules on Research Methods & Dissertation writing.
- Specialist Subject: Choose one elective from Management, Science, or Engineering.
- Entry Requirement: IELTS 5.5 + Bachelor’s degree (GPA meeting university entry criteria).
The Outcome: Direct entry to a Master’s degree in September 2026.
3. Pre-Foundation English
Best for: Students aiming for the NCUK Foundation Year.
If your goal is to join our International Foundation Year in September 2026 (leading to university in 2027), this course builds the language base you need to succeed.
- What You Will Study: Intensive English for Academic Purposes (15 hours/week).
- Entry Requirement: IELTS 4.0 – 5.0..
The Outcome: Entry to the DIFC International Foundation Year in September 2026.
Study Your Way: Dublin or Online
We know flexibility is key. You can choose how and where you want to prepare.
- On Campus (Dublin): Immerse yourself in Irish culture and campus life.
- Online (Virtual): Study from the comfort of your own home.
Hybrid: Spend 12 weeks studying at home, then finish your course with 12 weeks in Dublin (available for non-visa required countries).
