University Options

Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Kralove (Second Faculty of Medicine), Czech Republic. Charles University is one of the top dentistry universities in Europe. The 5-year dentistry programme in Charles University is taught in English and are arranged along the lines of theoretical, preclinical and clinical studies in theoretical and preclinical departments, clinical departments and institutes. Students graduate with a MDDr. (“Medicinae Dentium Doctor”).

  • Have 12 years of high school, which is accepted/ recognised for entry to a state university in the home country.  Each student studying at a university in the Czech Republic must have his/her secondary school education recognized by the Czech Educational Office by Nostrification by the education department of recognition authority at any regional authority (Krajský úřad) in the Czech Republic. The 5-year degree programme Odontology aims at educating dentists capable of diagnosing and treating dental conditions and cooperating with other health care specialists in ensuring individual and public health. Students graduate with a MSc in Health Sciences, Doctor Odontologist

Their 5-year Dentistry degree is taught in English and is recognised throughout the European Union and several other countries around the world. This program offers a high standard of knowledge and skills for dental surgeons. Students graduate with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.).

The School of Medicine offers a five-year Dentistry program, leading to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).

Teaching is conducted in English, with a minimum workload of 5,000 hours of theoretical and practical training. The Dentistry program integrates the acquisition of a strong science foundation with hands-on clinical skills. There is also a strong emphasis on clinical exposure and the university’s privately owned dental clinic gives students the opportunity for patient interaction and clinical training.

Graduates will be able to function anywhere within the EU and other international health care standards.
