Introduction
Choosing the right university was a challenging and often overwhelming task. With so many options and factors to consider, it felt like a big decision that would shape my future. However, when I discovered Dublin International Foundation College (DIFC), I knew I had found a place that would provide me with the foundation I needed to succeed in my academic career. My name is Stephen, an engineering major currently studying at University College Cork (UCC). When I first started my university search, it was tough to find the right university. After much research, I stumbled upon Dublin International Foundation College (DIFC), and I read about their program and then proceeded to apply. They did not only offer a supportive community but also gave me a smooth transition into higher education.
My Journey through DIFC
Academically, DIFC exceeded my expectations. The teaching standard is so high at DIFC, a special thanks to Robert, my Physics and Math teacher, was very excellent at teaching, he made everything so easy, and without him, I don’t think I would be where I am today. Then Klaudia, my chemistry teacher, was also a very good teacher, she would sit with me whenever I did not understand something, and she always made sure I understood at the end of every class lastly, Brian, my EAP teacher, was a good teacher and advisor, he always encouraged me and made me believe in myself and it helped me through my stay in DIFC.
Life at DIFC was enjoyable and vibrant. The college fosters a close-knit community where students from different cultural backgrounds come together to share their experiences.
Dublin is an amazing city for students. It’s full of history and culture, with lots of events, museums, and cafes to check out. The lively atmosphere and friendly locals made it easy to feel at home. Plus, DIFC organizes plenty of extracurricular activities and outings, giving us a well-rounded experience that goes beyond just classroom learning.
I highly recommend Dublin International Foundation College (DIFC) for several reasons.
