Why did you choose to study in Ireland?
For one I have been to Ireland a few times before back in 2008-2009 for different English summer schools and activity centres. I was fortunate enough to travel around Ireland before choosing to study in it. Ireland’s landscape and its people are one of the most important reasons I chose Ireland too. Their friendliness, hospitality and generosity is too a vital reason for choosing Ireland. I also had both of my brothers and cousins studying there so it was an easy choice to make. All adds to how easily I adapted to life in Ireland.
What has been your favourite part of studying abroad?
The opportunity to meet people from all around the world from all walks of life.It opens so many opportunities and doors that were never possible before. Nothing beats that.
What did you love about living in Ireland?
Bunsen. Best burger I’ve ever had and I’ve had many from different countries. Never had anything better.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
A bit of FIFA, calligraphy, cooking and sometimes soccer every now and then.
What is your favourite food?
Nothing Irish unfortunately. It’s an Arabic dish called “Waraa Enab“ which literally translates to Vine leaves. Trust me its great.
What is your fondest memory of DIFC?
Spending endless nights with my friends studying and cooking together in the college dorms. We were not supposed to do any assignments together but what the heck … 😛
