While DIFC’s International Foundation Year is NCUK-certified, the Medicine Foundation pathway has its own dedicated medical partners – including prestigious institutions such as the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). Understanding UCAT and BMAT for Medical School Entry
If you’re applying to study medicine in the UK, you will need to sit one of two key admissions tests: the UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test)or the BMAT (Biomedical Admissions Test). These tests play a critical role in the admissions process and are required before you’ll be considered for an interview or offer.
UCAT: Widely Required by UK Medical Schools
The UCAT is a multiple-choice exam that assesses:
