DIFC Students learn about their Future Study Options
Each year, DIFC holds a University Counselling Fair to provide students with an opportunity to speak to some of the University Partners and learn more about their future study options.
Last week, representatives from 20 partner universities (pictured above with DIFC President, Diarmuid Moroney and Marketing Director, David Moroney) from both Ireland and the UK attended the 2016 event. This is part of DIFC’s commitment to providing students with placement counselling and supporting them in discovering the best university/degree for them to progress their studies.
During the fair, we spoke to some of DIFC’s university partners and students to get their thoughts on the DIFC programme and top tips for students considering studying abroad.
In addition to the Counselling Fair, during the course, students are given counselling advice by tutors and the University Placement Manager regarding university choices. This includes:
- Career planning, University application preparation and guidance
- Choosing the right course for you
- Selecting the right university for you
In addition to this, individual universities visit the College and also students can visit the universities on jointly organised open days.
