Our International Foundation College

When you come to study in Ireland at DIFC, you are following in the footsteps of many hundreds of international students who have used our courses as a pathway to university success at undergraduate or postgraduate level.

DIFC was founded in 1999 for students wishing to gain access to university education in Ireland and the UK. We are the only college in Ireland with approval from NCUK to deliver their foundation courses – and through NCUK we can guarantee that students successfully completing the NCUK International Foundation Year and NCUK Graduate Diploma programmes delivered by us will be granted a place at a leading Irish or UK college or university.

At DIFC, your studies are individually tailored to your English language ability and the university course you wish to pursue. Whether you are spending a foundation year in Ireland or completing your pre-masters graduate diploma, you can rely on one-to-one guidance at every stage – from airport pick-up and advice on student visas to local orientation, personal counselling and assistance with your application for university entrance.

Our campus is located near the centre of Dublin, Ireland. A short walk away from your classes, you will find good quality Halls of Residence. Alternatively, to improve your English, you may be interested in the option of Home Stay with an Irish family.
